Aircrew is a macOS client for Telegram, built for people who run AI agents through Telegram. It is designed to be private by architecture: there is no Aircrew account, no Aircrew server that sees your messages, and no analytics tracking inside the app.
Your messages never touch our servers
Aircrew connects your Mac directly to Telegram using TDLib, Telegram's official client library. Your messages, media and contacts travel between your device and Telegram — we have no server in that path and no ability to read any of it.
What stays on your Mac
- Telegram session & media — stored locally by TDLib in your user Library, protected by macOS file permissions.
- Settings, bookmarks, drafts — stored locally.
- Semantic search index — embeddings are computed on your Mac and never uploaded. Aircrew does not use your Telegram data to train AI models, and never will.
- Agent usage stats — read from local files on your Mac only.
What leaves your Mac, and why
- Crash reports — on by default; turn them off at any time in Settings → Diagnostics → Crash reports. When on, anonymised crash data (stack trace, app/OS version) is sent to Sentry to help fix bugs. Never message content, chat names or identities.
- Update checks — the app periodically asks
updates.aircrew.chat(hosted on Cloudflare) whether a new version exists. Standard web-server logs (IP address, app version) apply. - License activation (Pro) — your license key and an anonymous machine identifier are validated against our license service (hosted on Cloudflare). Payments are processed entirely by our merchant of record, Paddle; we never see your card details.
This website
aircrew.chat uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites.
If you joined the Aircrew waitlist, your email address is stored with Cloudflare and used only for Aircrew news. Ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
- Turn off crash reports in Settings → Diagnostics.
- Log out (Settings → Log out) to remove the Telegram session from the Mac; deleting the app's data folder removes everything else.
- Contact us for waitlist removal or any privacy question: t.me/aircrewapp.
Aircrew uses the Telegram API but is an independent app, not affiliated with Telegram FZ-LLC. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to the Telegram service itself.
